Tinnitus Treatments
There are a bunch of so-called tinnitus treatments and cures advertised on the Web that claim to get rid of tinnitus symptoms, or at least turn down the volume of the brass band ringing in your ears. Some are plain crap while some hold some promise. I’m going to give you an honest assessment of four that look like potential solutions to tinnitus noise.
In the interest of full disclosure, I have a monetary interest in all of the products listed here. Should you check out their sites, study the information they provide, and wind up buying one of them, I’ll make a couple of bucks.
But know this…I wouldn’t spend the time writing reviews on any of these products if I didn’t think they might help someone with their tinnitus problems. Truth is, I have a touch of tinnitus myself and will be testing out one or more of these products.
My reviews are based on the information gleaned from different sources and talking to others who’ve tried some of these products. Based upon that information, I’ll give you an honest assessment on way or another. It’ll still be up to you to decide which, if any, of these products to try. I won’t do any actual recommendations. My purpose is to give a general picture of each product…then YOU decide. You can also find more information on tinnitus treatments at www.webmd.com

Tinnitus Miracle ™
By
Thomas Coleman- Nutrition Specialist, Health Consultant, Medical Researcher and
Author
This is an ebook that talks about taking a “Holistic Approach” to the tinnitus problem, meaning, looking for the hidden causes of the disease and attacking them rather than only relieving the symptoms.
I’ll tell you right now, the author claims to eliminate ear ringing in two months. He actually claims to cure the disease. The medical profession says there’s no cure, but he says it’s in their best interest to say this so they can keep you dependent on their prescription drugs. I don’t know for sure, some of that may be true, some of it reeks of tinfoil hat wearers seeing conspiracies in grandma’s apple pie.
Still, he outlines a 5-step process in the tinnitus treatments regime that he says will…
- Eliminate Your Tinnitus Within 2 Months
- Gain Significant Relief In Less Than 7 Days
- Banish Tinnitus Related Symptoms Such As: Mild
Hearing Loss, Pain in The Ear and Dizziness - Stop The Constant Ringing, Buzzing, Hissing,
Beeping and Discomfort and Keep Them Away Forever - Without Resorting To Drugs
- Without Audio Therapies or Psychiatric Treatments
- Without Risky Surgery
He has a lot of testimonials on his site. Most of the time, I ignore testimonials. They always use their initials instead of their full names and locations. To me, that says FAKE 100% of the time.
However, most of these are using their first and last name. That makes me think they may
be legit.
Getting back to the holistic approach, he says that trying to cure tinnitus with one-dimensional treatments doesn’t work. Drugs and surgeries have their side effects that may be worse than the disease. He says you can cure the disease by using techniques that work from “within.”
He then goes on to tell his story about his experience with tinnitus. He said that after a party next to a piano player he had a ringing that turned into a buzz over the next couple of days. It didn’t go away. I can relate. I’m a guitar player in a classic rock band. I hear ringing in my ears after every gig. But it goes away. Maybe something else triggered his reaction.
He says he spent 14 years researching every conceivable avenue and a lot of doctors for relief. He finally gave into the doctor’s recommendation and had surgery but the effects lasted only a month and then the noise came back.
He says that after 14 years he found the right combination of tinnitus treatments and found relief. Fourteen years is a LONG time to experiment with treatments. I may have given up.
Just to be sure his case wasn’t a fluke, he gave the same treatments to 27 different men and women and he says they all found relief. 100% of them.
I can only hope this is true. If so, there’s a lot of hope for the rest of us.
He says conventional tinnitus treatments can actually make the symptoms worse, and that the medical establishment actually preys on your desperation. He says, “One should only consider surgery for tinnitus if you were diagnosed with a tumor, osclerosis, or fistula.”
Apparently, tinnitus is triggered by multiple internal factors and they need to be identified and treated at the same time. Not one at a time like most doctors would do.
He gives specifics on what his product will do for you. Such as, tell you what foods to avoid if you have tinnitus, and what vitamins you should take. These are just two of many more examples
He says,” The Tinnitus Miracle system has been clinically proven to work in all of the following cases”:
- Tonal Tinnitus
- Pulsatile Tinnitus
- Muscular Tinnitus
- Vascular Tinnitus
- External/Middle/Inner Ear Tinnitus
- Nerve Pathway Tinnitus
Ok, maybe. I don’t have privy to any of the clinical reports, so who knows?
He says he’s been tinnitus-free for the last seven years.
He also offers one-on-one counseling as a bonus if you invest in his ebook, along with lifetime updates with any research breakthroughs that may come up. There are a total of three bonuses that you may be interested in. I won’t go into them here. I’ve already yakked enough.
I’m not sure if there’s a cure or not, but if what you’re doing isn’t working, then maybe spending $39 for a holistic approach to at least alleviate the misery may be a good idea. Heck, if even if half of what he says is true, this ebook may be something to look into. If you try it and it works, let me know. I’m pretty close to checking out myself. Stop the Ringing – 11 Proven Techniques to Stop Tinnitus ™
By Geoff Barker
“Tinnitus Researcher”
Another tinnitus treatments “cure” product. This time there’s a picture of Geoff, or someone who says he’s Goeff. He also is dressed kinda like, but not really, a doctor. Take it for what it’s worth.
This is another ebook you can download instantly.
Goeff doesn’t talk about a holistic approach. Instead, he talks about 11 Proven Techniques to stop the ringing. I’m not sure if these techniques tackle the symptoms (ringing) or the causes (whatever they are). He doesn’t say.
Like the guy before, he talks about his personal battle with tinnitus and how he researched for two years (instead of 14 like the previous guy) for relief. Like the previous guy, Goeff says he spent thousands of bucks on doctors but to no avail. In his words, he “tested over 60 different treatments that are supposed to help Tinnitus. I devoted 2
years to my research and spent a further $1800. And do you know what I found? I found 11 brilliant techniques that drastically helped reduce and completely stop the ringing in my ears.”
With this product, Goeff has 11 techniques instead of a 5-stop process. Maybe he’s a better researcher!
So he tested these 11 techniques on 40 subjects (he doesn’t call them patients, so I guess he’s not a doctor). And, according to him, 32 of them were cured or significantly reduced noise levels, while the other eight reported slight
improvements. This was after only two weeks.
So what do we make of this? He didn’t get a 100% success rate, but it didn’t take two months either. Frankly, I find the less than 100% success rate more believable and reassuring. Life isn’t a 100% deal (unless you count death and taxes).
Of course, he has testimonials. None use their full name. Only the first and last initial. But some have pictures. That adds a little more believability on my part. Geoff says he gets constant feedback from folks singing the praises of the product. Some even say they’ve been cured after doing only a few of the techniques.
Goeff is a little short on specifics as to what he teaches. Remember, the previous guy talked about specific foods and vitamins he would recommend. Goeff mentions none of this. He just talks about the results.
Bottom line, this product costs a little less ($37) than Miracle Cure, and if what Geoff says is true, takes less time to get results. If you’re in a hurry to rid yourself of the ringing, then maybe these tinnitus treatment techniques may be right up your alley. Click for more information on these tinnitus treatments here
Ok, who’s next…
Triumph Tinnitus Today: Step By Step Guide To
Turning Down Tinnitus
This person says his daughter had tinnitus and after going to several doctors, was told that the only thing she could do was cope with it. They told her she’d have to live with it. Then he goes on a trek to discover effective tinnitus treatments, or a perhaps even cure.
He points out several “tinnitus facts” (I don’t know where his source of information is from. My guess is from the 10 years of research he says he did):
Tinnitus Fact #1
The number one CAUSE of tinnitus is hearing damage. I thought it was the other way around. Maybe I’m wrong.
Tinnitus Fact #2
About 10 million people in the United States alone suffer from CHRONIC TINNITUS, the type of tinnitus that hinders a person from functioning normally. Now that is serious. Maybe yours is chronic, maybe it’s some other kind.
Tinnitus Fact #3
There are over 200 types of medication that can CAUSE tinnitus. I’ve never heard of this but if you watch enough medication commercials on TV, you know there are a lot of side effects from medications.
Tinnitus Fact #4
There are 12 different types of tinnitus. Naturally! It’s can’t be that simple, can it?
Tinnitus Fact #5
Tinnitus can be connected to hearing loss and hearing loss can be an effect of tinnitus. I thought he said above that hearing loss was a cause of tinnitus. Now it’s a result. Chicken or the egg. Still, he may be right.
Eventually, just like Miracle Cure above, the author points out that tinnitus must be treated from its cause, and not just its symptoms. That’s two products that say the same thing. Perhaps there’s something to that theory. Since tinnitus is a complex condition, tinnitus treatments must be somewhat more than just attacking the ringing, but whatever causes the ringing.
He talks about foods to eat, and foods to avoid. Apparently, foods high in B-12 help relieve tinnitus. That’s only one piece of information he shares in the introduction letter. To find out more, of course, you have to buy the product. The price is $37.75
He says he eventually cured his daughter’s tinnitus with this systematic, holistic approach to finding a cure for tinnitus. Since he talks about the same approach as Miracle Cure, there may be something to it. Click for more information on these tinnitus treatments here
Our next contestant is…
Goodbye Tinnitus! #1
Solution for Tinnitus In Four Simple Steps
Ok, now we’re getting down to it. Our first product reviewed took two months and 5 steps. The next took 2 weeks and 11 techniques. The last one didn’t provide a time frame but also talked about a holistic approach.
The author of Goodbye Tinnitus, David Daulton, claims to have suffered from tinnitus for 9 years (and presumably spent as much time researching the cure) and was able to cure himself in 3 ½ weeks.
But he goes one better in his sales page. He claims you can get INSTANT RELIEF of your symptoms. Maybe he got better at the tinnitus treatments for himself and can now offer instant gratification to sufferers. Instant relief? No one else is making that claim. Either he’s onto something or he’s just trying to one up the competition. Hard to say.
So he tells HIS story of how he got tinnitus. Instead of a loud piano bar, this guy was on a shooting range with unprotected ears! As a former military member, I’ve been on a shooting range. It gets loud, believe me. Ear protection is mandatory.
He says after the day’s shoot his ears continued to ring. Apparently, he suffered some damage out on the range. I won’t bore you with the story. You can probably guess. He goes on for years trying to find a cure…I’ll let you read about his plight and why the medical profession doesn’t care about your tinnitus.
Again, he says his program consists of a four-step, sequential process that, if you follow to the letter, you’ll feel INSTANT RESULTS. One technique only takes about three seconds to perform. Ok, now I’m all ear (my other one is ringing). He says that some of the medications we take can actually CAUSE the symptoms.
He points out that it’s necessary to re-train the “neural pathways in your brain that are causing the false signal loop of tinnitus… this literally addresses the root cause of tinnitus and therefore provides lasting results.” Then he talks about some herbal remedies and foods that help.
So it’s not just about techniques. It’s techniques, herbal applications, diet, and re-training the brain. Yikes! That’s pretty involved.
He even brings in the tried and true “ancient Chinese secrets” (doesn’t everybody have these?). Maybe he’s just trying to bolster the sales, but anytime someone mentions “ancient Chinese secrets” it’s like a red flag to me. I tend to squint and look with a skeptical eye. If only he hadn’t mentioned the Chinese! I bet some of them still have tinnitus to this day!
And finally, he talks about reversing the conditions that brought on the symptoms in the first place. That makes more sense to me.
Pretty ambitious, but if he can pull it off, it might be worth it. This one is a little more expensive–$49, with a 60-day guarantee. The letter is a good read. I’ve only touched on some of the stuff in it. Click for more information on these tinnitus treatments here.
Well, sports fans. That’s it for me. I’ve shown you some products which claim to give varying degrees of relief from tinnitus symptoms. They take several approaches: holistic, step-by-step procedural, combinations of the two. All sound promising. All sound somewhat too good to be true. All offer relief. All are competitively priced.
I’ve provided links to each of them. Again, in the interest of full disclosure, should you buy any one of these products, I’ll make a couple of bucks. There are a lot of other products I DIDN’ T associate myself with because they were, in my mind, blatant frauds. I just took the top four that looked promising and appeared to have a realistic potential to deliver relief, if not total cures, for tinnitus. I hope the information and perspective has been valuable to you.
Yours in tinnitus treatments success,
Jack
